St. George Library

Located between Main Street and 100 West on the north side of 100 South in St. George, Utah. The building consists of three stories with a total of approximately 20,500 square feet. Construction consisted of a rectangular shaped building. The building has two above-ground stories and one below-ground level. Provided Geotechnical investigation and construction materials testing.


Washington County Library, Washington City

Geotechnical Investigation and Materials Testing - Construction consisted of a two-story 16,000 square foot municipal library building and associated parking. Landmark Testing performed testing on soil compaction, base course and asphalt. Special Inspections were also completed on reinforced concrete, masonry and steel.


Washington City Public Building

Construction consisted of a 7000 square foot building for the City Public Works Department. Landmark performed testing of soil, aggregate, reinforced concrete and asphalt. Special inspections were completed for reinforcement steel and concrete placement in accordance with the International Building Code.


Village Bank, Main Headquarters

Located at the southwest corner of 300 East and Tabernacle Street in St. George, Utah. The building consists of three stories with a total square footage of approximately 28,224 square feet. Construction consisted of a steel frame building with a combination stone/east and west segments of the building are supported by conventional at-grade foundations, while the central segment is supported by a full basement walls over conventional spread footings. The main floor above the basement as well as additional floor above the main floor consist of reinforced concrete floors over metal decking. Provided Geotechnical investigation and construction materials testing.


Tonaquint Commercial Campus

Performed soils investigation, earthwork, building pad, concrete, reinforcing steel, and asphalt for two two-story (Building A is 100 ft x 75 ft & Building B is 135 ft x 70 ft) and one three-story commercial building, and associated parking.


Delores Eccles Fine Arts Center

Located at Dixie State College in St. George, Utah. Construction consisted of approximately 78,000 square foot building. The center is two-stories with a 300 seat recital all, 500 seat performance theater, black box theater, class rooms and an art gallery. Geotechnical engineering, foundation and sub-drain system monitoring, earthwork and fill placement and monitoring, lightweight and conventional concrete (clump, air, strength, mix), rebar inspections, structural masonry, spray-applied fireproofing, and structural steel and welding testing. Project cost : $19 million. Provided Geotechnical investigation and construction materials testing.


Main Street and Tabernacle Office Building and Parking Structure

Located on Main Street and Tabernacle in St. George, Utah, Construction consisted of a four story 80,000 square foot office building with reinforced concrete basement and St. George's first multi-level post-tensioned 92,000 square foot parking structure. Installation of under-drain system, foundation preparation, and earthwork and fill placement and monitoring, lightweight and conventional concrete (slump, air, strength, mix), rebar inspections, structural steel inspections, spray-applied fireproofing, welding, and masonry testing. Provided Geotechnical investigation and construction materials testing.


Stephen Wade Nissan

Located on Hilton Drive and Dixie Drive in St. George, Utah. Construction consisted of approximately 18,000 square foot showroom/office building with attached service department; and an approximately 14,000 square foot future building. The building is a single story building. The showroom/office area is a steel structure constructed with large exterior windows and veneer walls. The attached service department consists of concrete block wall construction. Provided Geotechnical investigation and construction materials testing.


Stephen Wade Cheverolet/Cadillac

Located on Hilton Drive and Dixie Drive in St. George, Utah. Construction consisted of approximately 75,00 square foot showroom/office building with attached service department. The building is a two-story, with a small mezzanine style second floor used for offices. The showroom/office area is a steel structure constructed with large exterior windows and veneer walls. The attached service department consists of concrete block wall construction. Provided Geotechnical investigation and construction materials testing.


Washington County Solid Waste Access Road

Landmark Testing completed the 2800 lineal foot geotechnical investigation for the project. The project entailed deep fills up to 35 feet, 11,800 tons of granular borrow, 60,000 cubic yards of roadway excavation, 6500 tons of treated base course and 2,250 tons of HMA.


Washington City Recreation Center

The project consisted of approximately 110,000 square feet of community center building. The Community Center includes a lap pool, leisure pools, three full size gyms, cardio & weight room, rock climbing wall, and an indoor track. Landmark Testing & Engineering's responsibility included site engineering, with additional geotechnical certifications, special inspections of reinforced items, and construction materials testing of soils, asphalt and concrete.


Washington Yard Mechanics Shop

This project consisted of 14,380 square feet of warehouse space with one story with mezzanine. Landmark's responsibilities included construction material testing of soils, asphalt and concrete along with special inspections of reinforced items such as footings and slab on grade.


Washington City Yard

This project consisted of 16.04 acres of earthwork. This project consisted of approximately 167,359 cubic yards of cut and 143,923 cubic yards of fill. Landmark observed pad preparation, performed in-place density testing of the fill materials and certification of the building pad.


Industrial Road

Construction consisted of 66-feet ROW road approximately 2,140 feet in length extending from the east end of Industrial to Washington Fields road. It also included Geotechnical investigation and construction management of a new four-lane road over swampy conditions. Included were a settlement analyses, slope stability, and construction of a three-barrel box culvert.


Viracon Inc.

Located in the Fort Pierce Industrial Park on the southwest corner of 1630 East and Park Industry Drive. Construction consist of a concrete tilt-up panel building approximately 235,000 square feet. The building includes a 15,867 square foot office and loading docks. There will also be automobile parking on the north and east sides of the building. Provided Geotechnical investigation and construction materials testing.
